White Noise Module

The Model 80136M14 White Noise Generator Module combines a state-of-art noise generator, amplifier, and speaker integrated on a standard modular panel. The audio signal algorithm is created digitally with a random number generator featuring a 63 bit maximal length linear feedback shift register.

The size of the shift register ensures that the digital sequence will not repeat output states or reset for approximately 70,000 years. The output is also forced Gaussian by equally distributing 1's and 0's and also has a 4 level state output for an equally divided constant power over the entire audible spectrum.

A fixed volume is controlled with an on board potentiometer. Output may be switched ON / OFF with a standard ABET output line or other suitable control.
