Developed by Rainer Goebel of Brain Innovation BV, BrainVoyager QX is a highly optimized and user friendly software package for the analysis and visualization of functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging data sets. It runs on all major computer platforms including Linux / Unix, Windows and Mac OS X. This system provides the best graphics, comprehensive statistics, complete integration and in-depth user support. The software is in use in hundreds of imaging centers. BrainVoyager QX is also compatible with all BrainVoyager 2000/2002 files.

  • Student's t-test, linear correlation, cross-correlation, multiple regression, General Linear Model
  • Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, rank order correlation
  • Independent Component Analysis (ICA)
  • Inter-ROI / inter-subject time course averaging
  • Reading 2D image files: Siemens *.ima (byte swapping necessary), DICOM, ANALYZE format
  • Support for GE, Siemens, Bruker, Philips and Toshiba scanners
  • Fast 2D and 3D motion correction of small head movements
  • Easy creation of stimulation protocol either direct output by E-Prime or direct graphical entry of stimulus protocol
  • A defined stimulation protocol allows you to specify reference functions or groupings for statistical tests based solely on selection of stimulus conditions.

SURFACE MODULE: MESH PROCESSING TOOLS

  • Creation and display of multiple surfaces (e.g. scenes composed of brain and transparently rendered head)
  • Coloring of meshes with respect to local computation of convex or concave surface patches
  • Surface slicing - Interactive real-time slicing through head / brain meshes showing anatomical and functional volume data
  • Cortex inflation, unfolding and flattening - Specification of parameters for various deformation forces (e.g., edge length, smoothing, target intensity range)

BrainVoyager QX can be purchased as a Base Module to focus on 2D visualization, or combined with the Surface Module to add powerful 3D tools and other advanced features.
